Commission launches capacity-building workshop to strengthen transparency and citizen-focused service
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and citizen-focused service with the launch of a two-day Certified Technical Capacity Building Workshop for its SERVICOM Departmental Desk Officers in Enugu State.
The workshop, which commenced on Monday, is aimed at reviewing the third edition of INEC’s Integrated Service Charter and developing a Local Service Charter to enhance service standards across the Commission.
The program is being conducted in collaboration with the SERVICOM Presidency Team and has received the approval of INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan.
Declaring the workshop open, the Director of Administration, Mr. Austin Orogbu, represented the INEC National Commissioner, Prof. Sani Adams, and the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Rose Anthony, who were unavoidably absent.
INEC emphasized that the workshop is part of ongoing efforts to improve service delivery, ensure accountability, and promote greater public confidence in the electoral process.
