Security agents in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday apprehended a young woman in Kabusa for allegedly possessing 20 voters’ cards during the ongoing Area Council elections.
The woman, dressed in a black shirt, red trousers, and a white scarf, was caught at Polling Unit 001, Kabusa Primary School. Eyewitnesses reported that the discovery sparked immediate intervention by security personnel at the polling unit.

She was promptly escorted into a waiting police van as officials moved to prevent any further irregularities. The incident highlights ongoing vigilance by security agencies to curb electoral malpractice, including voter fraud, during the FCT Area Council polls.
Authorities have yet to release additional details regarding possible investigations or charges against the suspect, but the arrest serves as a warning to others attempting to manipulate the electoral process.
