Voting activities remained calm and orderly at the South East Ward polling unit in Abaji Area Council as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the area, Umar Auwal Yunusha, conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the exercise.

During his visit, the police chief monitored security arrangements and interacted briefly with officials at the polling unit. Speaking with our correspondent, he described the electoral process as peaceful and well-coordinated, assuring residents that adequate security personnel had been strategically deployed to safeguard voters and electoral materials throughout the exercise.

Community stakeholders also commended the conduct of the poll. Alhaji Danladi, a prominent figure in the area, praised the level of organization and cooperation among electoral officials and security agencies, describing the exercise as exemplary.
An electorate, Yakubu Mohammed Daho, equally lauded the smooth and transparent nature of the process, giving credit to INEC for its management of the election.

As of the time of filing this report, accreditation and voting were ongoing without disruption, with voters steadily turning out to perform their civic duties under tight security supervision.
