Street-hop singer Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has lost his first celebrity boxing bout after suffering defeat to skit maker Carter Efe at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event.

The fight, held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, lasted three rounds, with judges awarding Efe a unanimous decision victory after scoring the contest 27-30 in his favour.

Portable entered the bout unbeaten, having previously defeated Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in 2023 and singer Speed Darlington in April 2025.Ahead of the fight, both contenders exchanged verbal jabs, with Portable expressing confidence in extending his winning streak.

“I will use you to collect my third belt. Charles Okocha was bigger than you, Speed Darlington was bigger than you and I beat them. I will beat you now,” he said.

Efe, however, responded with a warning: “One punch and you fall.”Inside the ring, Portable began aggressively, throwing wild punches in the opening round, but Efe remained composed and delivered more controlled shots.

In the second round, Efe grew sharper, landing cleaner punches and dictating the pace, while the third round followed a similar pattern, with the comedian maintaining his advantage until the final bell.

The victory crowned Efe as the new celebrity boxing champion and ended Portable’s unbeaten run.

The event was promoted by Balmoral Group Promotions in partnership with AK Promotions, founded by former world heavyweight champion Amir Khan, and sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control.
