President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Professor Modupe Adelabu as the new Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Examinations Council (NECO).
The announcement was made by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership across key education institutions.
Adelabu, an expert in educational administration and former academic at Obafemi Awolowo University, previously served as Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and also chaired the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Her appointment is expected to enhance NECO’s leadership and support improvements in the quality and credibility of national examinations in Nigeria.
